Cross Country completes season with DCSAA placements! 

The Boys and Girls Varsity and JV Cross Country student athletes competed in the DCSAA Championships this past weekend. Luke Tewalt, pictures, placed 2nd overall in the state, with Zoe Edelman finishing 9th. Congrats to all the athletes. 

Cross Country finishes strong at Georgetown Prep! 

Cross Country student athletes competed in the Georgetown Prep Classic and performed well. Luke tewalt and Zoe Edelman took 1st and 2nd place respectively while Oliver Spiva took 7th (Pictured.) Max Regardie and Robbie Mirabello earned PRs on the day. 

Girls Varsity Soccer drops home opener! 

Girls Soccer lost 1-0 to SWW. Despite coming up short,the Lady gave quite a performance in their home opener. After giving up a goal in the first 5 minutes, the Lady Lions tightened up their defense and denied SWW limited opportunity to double their lead 

Volleyball wins season opener! 

The 2017/2018 volleyball season started off with a victory. The newly formed Latin Varsity Girls' Volleyball team played and won their very first home match!!!!! The team defeated a very resilient Holton-Arms, in three straight games: 25-23, 25-22 and  

Cross Country finishes 3rd at Landon Invitational! 

Our Cross Country teams competed at the Landon Invitational and placed 3rd overall. Both Zoe Edelman and Luke Tewalt finished first in their respective races, while Nick Geist finished 6th. 

Girls Varsity Volleyball Wins Second Straight Match! 

Girls Varsity Volleyball team defeated Georgetown Day School to win their second straight match. 

Girls and Boys Varsity Soccer are in the finals of the Petwoth Cup! 

Girls and Boys Varsity Soccer are in the finals of the Petwoth Cup with victories over Cardozo HS. The Girls won 9-0 while the Boys, after a 1-1 tie and extra time, were victorious in penalty kicks. The finals are on Saturday at Roosevelt from at 11:30am. 

Girls Varsity Soccer Retains Petworth Cup Trophy for 4th Consecutive Year! 

For the 4th straight year, our Girls Varsity Soccer team has retained the Petworth Cup Championship Trophy! The team defeated EL Haynes 4-0 lift the crown! 

MS Girls Soccer Scores Home Win! 

Girls Middle School Soccer team battled a stingy DC International squad on Thursday. The Latin players got an early goal and never looked back. Lana Coulon was very solid in defense as Genet Tewalt terrorized the DC defense and picked up the 2nd goal.  

Boys and Girls Basketball Play at Paul Today!  

Washington Latin PCS High School Basketball teams will scrimmage against Paul PCS today. The game will take place at 7:00 pm at the Paul 5800 Eight Street NW. Come out and show some support for your players! Roar Lions Roar!
